Finally have gotten around to websizing and loading new pictures in several albums. In Aquatherapy there is a sub album showing the record high water we have this year. Trailer life album, pictures near the end of the high water of May storm that blew through and our new hardwood floors. Also Station album shows the latest progress on the Jacksonville library, they are sure moving right along on that finally. Since the May 3rd storm we have been with out internet access, one of the tornado’s made a mess of the phone and power lines in Damascus which is where we dial into. Currently I am outside the Super 8 in Clinton using there wireless. Had to pay bills and can access the internet from their parking lot so I used the high speed to download the pictures also. Funny how it goes so fast, just wish we had access to high speed at the house. Maybe some day, meanwhile we deal with what we have and are happy for that, especially when we do without for 6 days now and still counting.

There are new pictures in the trailer album. We got 3 inches of rain yesterday and 5 and a half inches of snow this morning. Both of us are fine and been keeping busy working and projects around the property.

I finally got around to posting the May 2007 pictures in the trailer album. Life has been very busy. Paul has been working at Wal-mart since February and Dee has been delivering mail out of the local post office since May.

Sunday March 11th I got to tag along on David’s visit with his son. We went to the Little Rock Zoo and Cody was talking the entire visit about all the animals. He is very smart and knows his animals. We had a very enjoyable visit and took pictures at the end of our train ride. See them posted under the Cody album.

I have posted finished pictures in the Nashville Project post along with finished garage pictures in the woodshed album. I am back home and hard at the things we are doing around here. They got 8 plus inches of rain while I was gone and hope to get the marina road (underwater) pictures posted before too long.

I’ve been working at my sister’s place trying to transform the back yard for over a week now. We had to dig us some gray stuff out of the back yard that was like small rubber scraps, man there was a lot of it to get out of the way before we could really start. So far we have put in 200+ feet of edging, 3 pallets of rocks, one dump truck load of dynafill, not to mention 70 feet of a silt fence to keep the back yard from sliding into the creek while we worked. It’s really looking nice but we are expecting lots of rain so we will have to see what happens and make adjustments after things settle out. All in all it’s quite an amazing transformation.

This past week was tough on getting the garage built. Between the rain, COLD and the wind the roof is still lacking a day and a half of being complete. We did get tin on the entire west side and half of that side insulated and a few sheets of plywood up. We dig get the trench dug and the power run, no more temporary pole, along with tin up on half the east side and our load of gravel delivered and leveled. So all in all it was not a bad week, just not enough done for us to be totally satisfied. You can view the progress in the woodshed album.
