Dee and Paul on the Lake

more picture updates

Wed November 22, 2006 @ 7:08 am

Well the past month has been spent trying to heal a bum back. Got the propane line moved, but we dug the trench and that did the back in. Have managed to get the form built for the garage pad and finally got it poured professionally Monday. We can start building on it Wednesday and can put cars on it in a week. We have kept busy with moving dirt and rocks. Had 3 loads dropped off (free). We have the first load moved to our “fill” area and about 1/4 of the second one moved to the garden plot. Still have much dirt and rock to move and plant. The power company can out and cut down the 2 trees that were threatening the power lines so we also have 2 piles of wood and brush to clean up, move and stack. We are not bored by any means.

In the pictures I have a woodshed album that shows what we have been up to for the past month. We need to get real jobs so we don’t have to work so hard.

AWSOME

Mon July 3, 2006 @ 4:51 am

Daytona was AWSOME. Along with the experience of Nascar live, Tony Stewart won. It couldn’t get much better than that. We have seen lots of lighthouses and local sights along the way. Will try to get some pics posted once we get back home. We are having a GREAT time.

VACATION

Wed June 14, 2006 @ 5:19 pm

Paul and I left the station for the last time at 3 pm this afternoon. Tomorrow we will pack and leave for a month long “road trip”. We will take in Nashville and a visit with Diane, Hannah and Rich, along with Rhode Island and Mom Sheaffer and relatives there before heading down the coast and visiting some lighthouses along the way. Daytona on July 1st we will watch the Pepsi 400 and then travel to Tampa and visit Dad and Mom East. Eventually we will head back to Arkansas and then figure out what to do with the “rest” of our lives. In the last 15 yeasr we have taken ONE vacation together ( thanks Dad and Mom) so this one we are very much looking forward to. Hope to post lots of neat pics when we get back.
