Station update

Fri June 2, 2006 @ 9:31 am

Well the gas pumps and the tanks are gone, the hole is being filled. Most of our “stuff” has been relocated and the rest is being priced for sale. The last 2 weeks have sure been different. Once I find my instruction on how to post pictures (or get new ones) I will post the “end of an era” in downtown Jacksonville.

Station/library

Mon May 15, 2006 @ 9:09 am

Last Wednesday the City made us an offer and we accepted, we ran out of gas Monday morning and will get no more. Paul does have a few appointments to finish up on and we will begin removing our stuff from the station. This “property” will be the site for Jacksonville’s new public library.

New Website Look

Thanks to Dan for the new website look. Along with being an A NUMBER ONE, husband, father and son-in-law he knows his way around the internet and websites with the expertise his pending PhD will only add credience to. Thanks again Dan for all your hard work.

Baptism

Tue April 18, 2006 @ 12:24 pm

May the 20th will be a very special day this year. Paul and I will celebrate 28 years of marriage along with the baptism of our grandaughter, Lisa Dawn Greene. The baptism will take place in Morrilton, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Charlie presiding. We are looking forward to seeing Lisa and her Mom and Dad again.
